One UI 7 Supported Galaxy Devices List (Expected)

Over the past few years, Samsung has improved the user interface for their Galaxy Worlds. Regarding updates, the company launched its new skin in synch with new Android launches. Also, Samsung has changed its firmware update policy terms occasionally.

Its current stable version firmware, One UI 6.0, based on Android 14, was released in late October 2023. In addition, the company is working on the next AI-oriented upgrade, One UI 6.1. Which is going to be launched with the AI Featured Galaxy S24 Lineup. Meanwhile, recent activity leaks surfaced online for One UI 7, based on Google’s upcoming Android 15. In this article, we are discussing the list of devices for the One UI 7 update.

Will my Samsung device get the One UI 7 update?

The next major Samsung Firmware update, One UI 7, is expected to launch its stable variant in October 2024. Soon after Android 15 is released, we will have more updates on Samsung’s next UI. We must understand the Samsung OS and UI update policy regarding the devices eligible for the One UI 7 update update.

Samsung devices were announced to have three generations of major OS updates in 2020. However, this policy was changed in 2022, increasing the additional years to four years of OS and UI updates for the selected devices. Therefore, any Samsung device listed on the four-year update policy with the option left for another major update will also receive the One UI 7. Moreover, the devices launched in 2022 or later will be listed for the four years of update.

Such a list of eligible devices expected to receive the One UI 7 update is tabulated below-

Galaxy S series:

  • Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24

Final Words:

The list discussed above is not yet final, although assuming Samsung’s Four Years of OS and UI update policy, these devices follow the norms. However, the recent One UI 6.0 Update also shockingly included unexpected Galaxy devices. Unexpectedly, some other devices that should have the update were excluded.

That might not be the case with the One UI 7 update! As the update will be fully AI-oriented, device architecture means a lot. Region-wise, Samsung’s technical specifications of the devices are compromised to make up the market price of that region. Therefore, in such cases, the SoC setup was not at that level to receive the next update, which we have seen recently in the case of the One UI 6.0 update in some devices. You can expect the devices under the updated policy to be listed in the next update.
