You heard it correctly! News and leaks of One UI 6.1 are coming from every end of the world. This news confirms that AI power will be included in the Samsung Keyboards. It is unsurprising, as multiple leaks regarding the One UI 6.1 suggest that it will be tipped by AI power. Recently, in Saminsider, we also posted that Samsung will test their next UI beta with Galaxy S23. Before launching the beta version publicly, Samsung developers remotely tested multiple devices in the Remote Test Lab platform.
This new leak is a similar result and was posted on X Platform by a tech-savvy person, Vedant Kalore. Sharing a screenshot in his account, the user confirms the updated version is One UI 6.1, based on Android 14 on the Galaxy S23 device. The build version also confirms similarity with the previous test build leak S918NKSU2ZWX2.ย
The user also shared a video of a recent edition of the “Gen Ai Model” in the Samsung Keyboard section. From the video, it is clear One UI 6.1 Gen AI Model will be featured, with the option to choose an AI language model as per user choice. Those LLMs are Google’s PaLM2, Open AI’s GPT4 Mozilla Foundation Gecko, and Samsung Electronics ScS.
In addition, the Gen Ai Model also includes two translation models, those are LLM and On-device. It is also rumored that On-device AI will not require Internet connectivity to function. Therefore, the On-device Gen AI translation model might also act as the same.
Well, it is expected the stable One UI 6.1 is still a month away from being launched with the upcoming Galaxy S24. But such leaks of remote testing Galaxy S23 point to the conclusion that Samsung will release the One 6.1 beta program soon in public for feedback.
