These Samsung Galaxy Devices Can Now Get the February 2024 Security Update

The February security update (for One UI 6) is now rolling out for several devices. This isn’t a major update, so no notable new features exist. There are minor software tweaks and bug fixes, and security updates generally improve the security of your devices. They patch vulnerabilities and prevent malware attacks on your system.

Security updates are extremely important for many people since defending your phone’s software against those with malicious intent is a continuous process. Monthly patches ensure the best system security. Samsung phones are commendable for offering regular security updates even on their mid-range phone lineup. They don’t neglect older flagship devices, either.

List of devices with the 2024 February Security Patch

Samsung’s updates historically trickle down from flagships to others eventually. The 2024 February patch follows this same route. The flagship S series will get it first, then the mid-range variants. However, the latest S24 series didn’t get this February security patch. Samsung is probably working on major updates to the inconsistencies with the S24 series first, like the camera issues and display bugs. Those phones will get the update later.

Security Patch Update

Samsung’s updates heavily vary by region, popularity, sales, and other factors. Phones that are bought through carrier deals sometimes get the updates faster.
