Samsung XCover 7 Surfaces in Leaked Official Render

Korean Giant Samsung’s most popular rugged smartphone lineup Xcover’s 7th gen official renders leak taking the internet like a storm. Android Headlines recently shared a render of Samsung’s upcoming XCover 7. This was the first time fans had a visual representation of the upcoming version.

Based on the render, it has stunning looks! The series of diagonal strips gives an outstanding rugged design. The bold design with the grip also allows the user to handle the phone single-handedly. From the side view, the phone looks the same in thickness. Overall, Samsung keeps the same design with red highlighted left keys.

This time, Xcover probably sticks to its 5th version-like design, where we have a dual LED flash unit and single camera setup on the back. The signature sign of Xcover, a red circle behind the camera, is also spotted in the image. The front camera’s position remains the same, creating the V shape on the display.

As of now, not much information has been shared or leaked. However, it is rumored the new XCover 7 bears model number SM-G556B, which is again discussed among tech enthusiasts to be the sequel version of Xcover 5 (SM-G525F). If we look into its earlier version, Xcover 6 pro, it bears the model number SM-G736B. Therefore, it’s a hint that the next one is a sequel to 5th gen. This could happen very much as Samsung’s last rugged lineup price was not reasonable compared to its ruggedness. Hence, this time, the company wants an affordable approach to gain consumers for this particular lineup.

Although not much has been revealed, we know what to expect. The phone is designed to withstand any harsh environment, and we expect this time to come with more rugged features and much more durability. The last one got a 6nm designed Snapdragon 778G 5G Soc Setup, with an excellent high refresh rate of 120Hz. What will be now?

Overall, we can say that Galaxy XCover 7’s leak gives high hope among the fans, and it’s expected to be cheaper than its predecessor versions. Although not much has been revealed for now apart from the rendered design, it will be too early to discuss its specs. Stick to Saminsider for more upcoming news!
