Samsungโs Galaxy Unpacked event is coming up on July 10. So fans are excited about the new Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6.
Ahead of its launch, we found a Galaxy Z Flip 6 listing on a European retailer database that reveals the possible pricing for the European market.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphone is listed at โฌ1,339.99 for the 256GB model and โฌ1,466.99 for the 512GB model. For comparison, last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 5 launched in Germany at โฌ1,199 for the 256GB model and โฌ1,319 for the 512GB model.
Recently, another report revealed that the Z Flip 6 will cost $100 more than last yearโs Z Flip 5 model in the US. Now, it looks like the prices in Europe are going up too.
What upgrades can we expect for the additional cost?
Bigger Battery: The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have a 4000 mAh battery, up from the 3,700 mAh battery in the Z Flip 5.
Better Camera: The Z Flip 6 will feature a 50 MP f/1.8 PDAF main camera, a significant improvement.
Faster Processor: The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset, making it faster and more efficient than its predecessor.
As we get closer to the Galaxy Unpacked event, more details will come out. For now, it looks like the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be more expensive in Europe, but it will also come with some new upgrades like a bigger battery, a better camera, and a faster processor.
Note: These prices might vary depending on VAT and duties across different European countries. Samsung hasnโt officially confirmed them. We recommend waiting for official confirmation from Samsung before making any purchasing decisions.
