The Galaxy A52 successor version was recently spotted with the new One UI 6ย test build on Checkfirm. We know that Samsung has rolled out the stable Android 14-based One UI 6 skin for most Galaxy Devices and is still expanding globally. Therefore, midrange devices will not stay alone without the taste.
Most eligible midrange phones have already started to get One UI 6 in some countries, and now it’s time for the Galaxy A52s 5G in India. Sharing a screenshot of the build number, tipster @traunvats33 mentioned the test build may be the stable variant for A52s.
As you can notice in the screenshot, the newly found test firmware Build Version: A528BXXU5FWK8/ A528BODM5FWK5/ A528BXXU5FWK4 was discovered by the tipster on Samsung’s Internal test server in India. Although, you cannot expect to have the final version unless the company is satisfied with the performance.
However, shortly after the test build was spotted on the server, Samsung released the stable variant. Following a similar trend, this could be a possibility the company can make that happen again.
Galaxy A52s 5G was the slightly upgraded version of its predecessor, Galaxy A52. The device started its journey in 2021 with Android 11 under the One UI 4.1 skin. Since then, the device has gone through several major updates. Initially, the device was expected to get a maximum of Android 13 base One UI 5. However, counting the recent change in Samsung’s update policy, the device was listed for its next major update to One UI 6 based on Android 14.
Regarding the device specs, it got some enhancement in CPU and GPU compared to its previous variant. It’s an excellent midrange phone with a good camera feature and battery backup. With the latest One UI 6, the device may get more enhanced and optimized features like widgets, animation, gestures, etc. Stay tuned with Saminsider for the latest news!
