Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, Tab S9 Series, and Watch 6 Series are Now Official

Did you hear the news of Samsung’s Unpack events? Yes, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, Tab S9 Trio Series, and Watch 6 (Classic/Regular) Series are now Official. What’s New? Let’s explore all of their cutting-edge features quickly in a nutshell.

First, let us quickly see the Newest Foldables 5th Gen phones- Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5. Mostly Samsung put all its expertise into improving the mechanical hinge of the foldable genre. With zero gaps in furnishing while folding and at any angle, the hinge support the foldable screen. And smooth unfolding experience with negligible fold line or crease.

What’s new on Z Flip 5?

Brand New Z Flip 5 is available in 4 outstanding color variants. They are Mint, Lavender, Cream, and Graphite.

From the design point of view, the Cover screen got a huge corner-to-corner 3.4-inch display. Comparing it with Razr Plus, its display got a smooth cutting-edge rear camera setup, which is pretty much visually distracting in Razr Plus.

And all the newest features are included in this Cover screen. You can easily access the Quick setting tools, and a full-fledged qwerty pad can now be opened on the cover screen to reply instantly; most of the installed apps can be accessed from the cover screen. The base variant is 8 GB RAM plus 256 GB Storage, which is new from the previous 128 base version. Of course, it’s also available in a 512 GB variant.

Apart from that, the hinge mechanism improved mostly, and users can experience smooth folding. While unfolding it, one cannot find the phone hinge crease while using it. Inside the Z Flip 5, lots of upgrade has been done.  It got High performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Comes with Android 13 ONE UI 5.1.1 inbuilt.

The remaining other component is as usual. Like the Battery 3700 mAh, which supports 25-watt super fast charging. Wireless charging as well as reverse charging support.  Also, Supports USB C (3.2 Superspeed) charging. Mounted with the 10MP Selfie camera as usual, Two Rear Camera setups of 12 MP Mian Camrea(f/1.8 aperture) and 12 MP Ultrawide camera.

What’s New in Z Fold 5?

Z Fold 5 on its official look, packed with three variant colors- Phantom Black, Cream, and Icy Blue. The thickness and weight greatly improve in the newest 5th GEN Z Fold 5. Its thickness decreased by 2.4 mm, and weighs around 253 grams.

The performance will be higher with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 GEN 2 processor. As the vapor chamber, this time has 38% more gap than the previous Z FOLD. Great news for Gaming Geeks.

From the software point of view, it’s got the latest Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 inbuilt. More addition to Multitasking and up to 4 recent apps can be seen in a row on the taskbar.

The remaining layout remains the same as the previous Z Fold 4. Its got three cameras set up- 10 MP Telephoto Camera, a 12 MP Ultrawide, and a 50MP Main camera. And as usual, 4 MP Under Display Camera. As usual, the un-folded Screen is 7.6 inches, and 6.2 inches Cover screen is. Storage & Battery is the same 256-based 12 GB RAM and available in 512 GB to 1TB Variant and 4400 mAh battery.

Z Fold has not been modified much from the last version. Although, the screen display brightness got more interesting figures of Peak brightness of 1750 nits, better than the last one, 1000 nits. Also, this time Samsung added a S Pen lot thicker than the S23 version. Specially designed for Z Fold 5 Version.

What’s New on Samsung Tab S9 Series?

The Samsung Tab S9 Trio series is similar to the last one; no major changes can be seen. Well, not all products get the same attention. However, a few important improvements need to be highlighted-

  • Tab S9+and S9 Ultra got the replacement of 6 MP Ultrawide setup to 8 MP in the newest look. However, Samsung removes the Ultrawide camera from Tab S9.
  • All of the S9 lineup upgraded to Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.
  • Another significant development the Tablet S9 lineup got is the Water and Dust Resistance. Now all of them get an IP68 rating.

What’s New in Samsung Watch 6 series?

Samsung unveiled a variety of Models of the Watch 6 series. Mainly they can be categorized into the Classis and Nonclassisc group. Each of the two categories has two different display sizes. Under the Classic, you can choose between the sizes of 43mm and 47 mm. Whereas for the regular or Non-Classic, you can choose between 40mm and 44mm.

From the design point of view Watch 6 series look pretty much similar to the last Watch 5. However, the watch is thinner in spite of the larger battery inside. However, minor details have been taken into account, ultimately an important improvement in such a tiny watch. Here are some highlighted points on what’s NEW-

  • The resolution is much better than the last one and looks much bigger in the same bezel size with a resolution of 480×480 pixels and 432×432 pixels for the smaller version.
  • Much more modern navigations like Bezel Rotation and more transitions are included in the Watch 6 interface
  • Improvements in the Watch Bands can be seen; a single press button is attached so that you can easily buckle up the watch on your wrist.
  • It now has Bluetooth 5.3
  • Also, boost the RAM up to 2GB instead of 512 MB. But storage remains the same at 16 GB
  • The battery is also boosted up a little upto 425 mAh compared to Watch 5’s 410 mAh
