Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra US Pricing and Color Options Leaked

Samsung plans to announce the new Galaxy Watches at the Unpacked event scheduled on 10th July 2024.

These include the upgraded Galaxy Watch 7 and the first-ever Galaxy Watch Ultra, which will join the debut of the company’s Galaxy Ring alongside the new foldables (Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6).

A new report has revealed the pricing and color options for the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Watch Ultra in the United States.

According to the report by 91mobiles, the Galaxy Watch 7 is expected to cost $299 to $310 in the US for the base 40 mm Bluetooth variant.

This is almost similar to the pricing for the Watch 6 from last year, which started at $299 for the 40 mm variant. However, the upper range figure of $310 leaves open the possibility of a slight price markup from last year.

Furthermore, the same report talks about the pricing of the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which is expected to be somewhere between $699 to $710 for the single 47 mm variant. Hence, it seems that Samsung is planning to undercut Apple’s Watch Ultra 2, the Galaxy Watch Ultra’s biggest competitor, by a substantial margin.

The same report also details the color options for the two Galaxy Watches. The Galaxy Watch 7 will be available in 3 colors: Marbal Gray, Cream White, and Forest Green. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is expected to be made available in a Titanium Grey variant.

Samsung is expected to add drastic improvements to the Galaxy Watch 7: it will get a new 3 nm Exynos W1000 chip, a massive boost from the dated 5 nm W920 chip of the Watch 6 series. It will also start at a 32 GB storage variant, up from 16 GB storage on its predecessor. LTE variants are also expected to be available, with 40 mm and 44 mm sizes rumored for release.

On the other hand, the Watch Ultra is Samsung’s biggest smartwatch shakeup in years, with a new radical redesign based on inspirations from the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and a new Titanium build. It is expected to get a 590 mAh battery and will only be available in a large 47 mm size.
