Soon after the March 2024 Security Update, Samsung began to roll out the April 2024 software update. The company released the latest One UI 6.1 build for its listed devices. You can also enjoy security patches to protect the device from various vulnerabilities.
As usual, the latest flagship phone is the first to receive the software update, i.e., the Galaxy S24 lineup. The update is currently being rolled out for regions like South Korea, India, Europe, and the US. Eventually, it will reach more Galaxy devices for more regions.
With a new test build, the April 2024 Update brings the second camera refinement for Galaxy S24. Along with that, a few stabilizations and better zoom clarity are also brought to the device. Overall, it’s a decent update from a camera’s point of view.

In between software updates, the timely security patches and improvements shared will tackle all the issues.
April 11: Samsung is now rolling out April 2024 security updates for various Galaxy devices, including Galaxy S22 series (S22, S22+, S22 Ultra), Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy A14 5G, and Galaxy S23 series (S23, S23+, S23 Ultra).

Software updates, in general, are released in a specific period. However, it seems Samsung has to make over and address the issues with its previous quick launches. One UI 6.1 was launched enthusiastically, but this quick launch brought more sophisticated issues with later devices, which need to be fixed and improve overall performance. The company is committed to releasing software updates and security patches monthly, quarterly, and biannually, depending on the devices.
Meanwhile, you can start digging into your phone for any updates. Navigate to settings and scroll down to select the “About Phone” section. By tapping “Download and Install,” you can check for any update available for the phone.
Any April update spotted for Galaxy devices will be notified and added to the list above. Stay Tuned!
