Will One UI 7.1 be released? Here’s what reports say

One UI 7 first beta update for the Galaxy S24 device was released in December. Since then, multiple beta updates have been released, and a recent report suggests the 4th beta update is on the way. So far, Samsung has not been able to fix the stability of the skin. Which eventually creates uncertainty for the updates that were scheduled.

As reported from the source, the delays in the stable One UI 7 for later devices impact the update iteration. Which is why the company is considering to skip the One UI 7.1 update totally. Previously, the One UI 7.1 update was expected in Q2 of 2025. Generally, the additional update was for the foldable; in this case, it was expected with Z Fold 7/Flip 7. But the recent report suggests we are not getting it

Irrespective of the delays, the K giant has to bring the updates even if it takes time. Since last year, Samsung has announced new update policy plans for 7 years, which include most of the flagship devices like the S24 series. Therefore, refinements are necessary for the company to stand by its commitment. The One UI 7 update program will be delayed until it runs without any bug issues.

Moreover, skipping the One UI 7.1 update, the company is likely planning to roll out the Z Fold 7/Flip 7 with One UI 7.0.1. Note that the stable variant of One UI 7 has already been launched for the Galaxy S25 series. But the refinements with the older devices are taking more time than expected.

Hopefully, this delay is worth enough to enjoy the firmware with the latest Android 15. Regardless of the delay in One UI 7 updates, it was reported that it will not impact the next update, One UI 8.
