Survey Hints at Early January Release for Samsung Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung is working on its next big phone lineup, the Galaxy S25 series. It could be coming sooner than expected.

The company hasnโ€™t announced anything yet, but early reports suggest that the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra could be announced on January 5, 2025.

Thatโ€™s earlier than Samsungโ€™s usual late January or February releases if we believe the survey conducted by a retailer in Vietnam. According to the survey, the retailer is offering a 10% discount for anyone who completes it by January 5. This suggests Samsung might unveil the new Galaxy S25 phones on that date.

The survey doesnโ€™t say anything about the launch. But it points to a possible pre-CES 2025 unveiling for the Galaxy S25 series.

The Galaxy S25 is expected to bring big changes to Samsungโ€™s flagship phones especially the Ultra model. Reports say the S25 Ultra will have a new design with rounded corners and a straighter profile near the screen.

Thereโ€™s also a report of a new โ€œS25 Slimโ€ model that could join the series but that might not come until a few months after the main lineup.

So this new launch timeline would put the Galaxy S25 series ahead of the game compared to previous models. The Galaxy S24 was announced on January 17 and the Galaxy S23 was announced even later on February 1. If Samsung sticks to this early release schedule fans might not have to wait much longer for the next generation of Galaxy phones.
