At the beginning of 2025, Samsung hinted at its first Tri-Fold phone. Later, we learned that the device would be named Galaxy G Fold. Since the unpacked event, Galaxy Tri-Fold specs have been surfacing through various rumors and leaks. Here’s another one adding to the list before the official confirmation.
The recent information shared by none other than @PandaFlashPro. According to the tipster, details came from the internal prototype of the Galaxy G Fold. The prototype has the triple camera setup as follows:
- Main Camera: 200MP
- Ultra-wide camera: 12 MP
- Telephoto camera: 10 MP
The front camera is said to be 10 MP as well. The prototype, however, doesn’t reveal the inner display camera. But the tipster speculates to be 4 MP. However, the tipster clearly mentioned that this combination of camera setups may change in the process of development.

So far, from the information revealed online, we have the basic idea of the Tri-Fold, aka Galaxy G Fold. Earlier reports suggested that the device would fold uniquely, unlike its competitors in the market. The folding technique reportedly claims to resolve the drop impact of foldable phones. The phone says to use different film materials to fold twice in an inward direction.
Whileย unfolding, the device could feature a 10-inch display. However, it’s uncertain whether the device can beat its rivals in termsย of thickness.ย
Beating all the odds, the Galaxy G Fold may come along with Samsung’s Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 this year. However, a report from last year suggests a release window in early 2026.
