Samsung Introduces New Galaxy A Series Phones: A55 5G and A35 5G

So, the wait is over; enough of the leaks and rumors! Samsung pulls the curtain off, unveiling the popular A series duo-Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G. According to the President and Head of the Mobile Experience Business at Samsung Electronics, TM Roh – Galaxy A series includes some of the latest technologies for the benefit of its users.

Let’s dive into some of the official specifications of Galaxy A series Duo. Both of the devices will roll out with Android 14 base One UI 6.1 out of the box. The recent announcement highlights some of the important inclusions as tabulated below-

  • Galaxy A55 receives a few tweaks in Nightography to capture images in imperfect light conditions. Overall, both of them have incredible video/image capturing capabilities with highly optimized OIS & VDIS features. Besides its AI image signal processing, Night Portrait mode and 12-bit HDR video feature provide an extra boost to the every moment users capture.
  • Both the Galaxy A series will get enhanced security features for the first time with Samsung Knox Vault. Its advanced features protect against hardware and software attacks, securing data like lock screen credentials (PIN codes, passwords, and patterns).
  • The lineup overall gives an immersive mobile experience with the large 6.6 inches FHD+, Super AMOLED display. Both the devices will have a 120 Hz refresh rate with Vision Booster.
  • As rumored earlier, the official announcement confirms the 12 GB RAM variant of Galaxy A55 with 256 GB storage. The 8 GB variant will be tagged with 128 GB/ 256 GB storage. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A35 will have an 8GB and 6GB base variant with 128GB/256GB storage.
  • Both A series have a triple camera setup with 50 MP as the main camera. Galaxy A35 has an enhanced main camera similar to that of A55. The other cameras- Ultra-wide, Macro, and front-facing- will remain as they are.
  • As usual, both variants will have the typical 5000 mAh Battery backup.
  • Unlike its predecessor, Samsung has made recent series that connect seamlessly to the Galaxy ecosystem gadgets like Galaxy Fit 3 or Galaxy Watch 6. The wonderful auto switch transfers incoming calls to Galaxy Buds FE automatically.

The announcement, however, didn’t disclose information about the chipset they are using. But most of the retailers have already covered up the details. Galaxy A55 5G boasts the latest Exynos 1480 processor. On the other hand, the Galaxy A35 uses the slightly older Exynos 1380 processor, similar to the Galaxy A54.
