Samsung Health Monitor app will no longer support Android 11 or Older phones after December 23

If you have an older Galaxy phone with Samsungโ€™s Health Monitor app, we have bad news for you.

Users got a notification from Samsung that the Health Monitor app will not be working properly on phones running Android 11 or earlier versions after December 23, 2024.

Hence, if you have an older Samsung Galaxy phone, you will unfortunately miss out on the appโ€™s crucial features.

Samsung Health Monitor app update 1.3.6.001 is now available. It lets the users know about this change through a pop-up message.

no longer support

If you install the version, a message will be shown saying that the next version of the app (version 1.4.1) will not be compatible with Android 11 or earlier.

What does this mean? Galaxy phone users out there using Android 11 wonโ€™t be able to use the Health Monitor app as planned for a few things, such as measuring their blood pressure or receiving real-time ECG (electrocardiogram) notifications through their Galaxy watches.

However, the current version of this application can still run on your old phone with some of the basic features only. Samsung says that they are trying to make the app run smoothly on new phones.

Summing up, if you want all the available health features from Samsung, then upgrading your phone is probably the best option at the moment.
