We are only a few months away from the time window Samsung usually launches its flagship smartphones. This time, it is going to be the Galaxy S25 series.
Just a day ago, we received leaks regarding the color options of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the highest-end model in the series. Now, a new leak reveals the dimensions of the entire Galaxy S25 series, from the base model to the top.
Galaxy S25 Series to be Slimmer Than the Galaxy S24 Series
A leaker, who goes by the name xleaks7 on X (formerly Twitter), recently shared the dummy units of the entire Galaxy S25 series โ the base model, the Plus, and the Ultra. These aluminum dummy units give us a close idea of the size of all three devices.
- Galaxy S25: 146.94 x 70.46 x 7.25 mm
- Galaxy S25 Plus: 158.44 x 75.79 x 7.35 mm
- Galaxy S25 Ultra: 162.82 x 77.65 x 8.25 mm
For comparison, the dimensions of the Galaxy S24 series smartphones are mentioned below. As you can see, Samsung has worked on reducing the footprint of this year’s flagships.
- Galaxy S24: 147 x 70.6 x 7.6 mm
- Galaxy S24 Plus: 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.7 mm
- Galaxy S24 Ultra: 162.3 x 79 x 8.6 mm
All three models from the Galaxy S25 series are going to come with a flat display this time around. Samsung ditched curved screens for the Ultra models with the Galaxy S24 Ultra launched earlier this year.
The rest of the design is also pretty standard and nothing new. Also, as per the dummy units, the rear camera setup will consist of three individual cutouts, one for each sensor. This could mean that the unified camera island we are hearing of for the Galaxy A series will not be coming to the flagship Galaxy S lineup.
Now, it goes without saying that this information is based on leaks. So there is room for error, although the leaker does have a good track record. For official confirmation, we will have to wait for the launch, which will hopefully be early next year.
