Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy A15 line in the early quarter of 2024, with two basic variants, 4G & 5G. Recently, on November 10th, Galaxy A15 5G (SM-A156B) was spotted on Geekbench CPU Test. However, the result was quite shocking!
If you remember, the A15 4G (SM-A155F) variant was spotted on Geekbench Test last month. And if we compare both versions, its 4G variant outperformed the 5G in terms of Single-core and multicore performance. However, it will be too early to predict based on the first test. A lot is yet to be tested!
Both can be seen performing on a 4 GB memory setup. Moreover, the test was conducted on an Android 14-based, most likely One UI 6 firmware. Also, it is quite unnoticeable that the processor used is an octa-core processor with 2X2.2 GHz Clock speed and 6X2.0 GHz Clock speed. Both variants seem to be powered by the MediaTek chipset. The Galaxy A15 5G uses the Dimensity 6000+ chipset, whereas the Galaxy A15 4G employs the Helio G99 chipset. Samsung has launched its previous series with MediaTek Dimensity 700.
Recently, Galaxy A15 5G spec leak took the internet to like a storm. Compared to its predecessor, version A15 5G will likely get a huge update. As per the leak, the latest phone will likely get a 90Hz refresh rate and OLED display at an affordable price of 250 Euro or $149.
Apart from that, A15 will likely have 25W fast charging options this time. This will not be a surprise as the Galaxy A25 5G variant was recently confirmed to have a 25W fast charging option. The remaining specs are probably similar to the A14 lineup, like a triple camera setup, battery with 5000mAh power, etc.
