The recent One UI 6.1 update already created issues in Galaxy Devices. Yet here, another issue reported in April brings a blue background effect while multitasking. The issue was reported in the Korean Samsung Community forum. However, within a few hours, the team responded to the issue and asked users for further information.
The exact issue looks like the image shared below. Every user tends to use multitasking features, especially on foldable Galaxy devices and faces the blue background issue ever since the One UI 6.1 update. It’s not the first time that the new skin has been in the news; various issues occur from time to time.
In the same forum discussion, the moderator acknowledged the issue. The team in charge is checking the issue for workarounds. Also, it was mentioned that the improved version of the firmware would be able to resolve the issue. Hence, users have to wait for the next version of the One UI 6.1.1 Skin. The team regrets and apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the update.
In the meantime, the moderator suggests that users turn the dark mode settings on/off as a temporary fix. To toggle dark mode, you can simply go to the quick settings panel. You can also navigate to Settings> Display> Choose Light or Dark Theme.
Samsung’s major update, One UI 6.1.1, is expected to be released at the Samsung Unpacked event in July. Therefore, a month later, Galaxy users’ issues can be mitigated. However, the team has yet to acknowledge several other issues.
Hopefully, the next major update will bring a fruitful solution to all issues caused by the latest update. Meanwhile, keep following Saminsider and stay tuned for any of the latest updates on Samsung!
