Some leaked dummy units of the S24 have surfaced online. It’s difficult to verify the authenticity of this leak, but some images of dummy S24 units are floating around the internet. A leaker, Revegnus on X, claims that the images are fake. However, they are still in line with previous rumors of the design of the S24 lineup.
The entire S24 lineup looks extremely similar to the S23 lineup. Samsung is finally maintaining its own design identity. They’re not changing the designs every year to the point where the phones have no real identification factor. Samsung’s flagships now have a squared-off design with a triple camera layout at the top left, arranged vertically. This avoids camera bumps as well.
The rectangular flat design of the S24 lineup resembles the new iPhones. The rear cameras look identical to the S23 and S23 Plus. The camera module design of the S24 Ultra will also resemble the S23 Ultra, with five individual camera rings. The LED flash is next to the camera array.
At the bottom, there’s a USB-C port in the middle, a physical SIM card tray, the primary microphone, and a speaker grill. The right side consists of the volume buttons and the power button. If the dimensions do not change, older cases might fit with the S24 models, too. The S24 will probably have a 6.1″ size, the S24 Plus will have a 6.6″ size, and the Ultra will have a large 6.9″ size.
Samsung will introduce some new colors to keep the design fresh. We expect Black, Gray, Violet, and Yellow and some exclusive colors online. Samsung will probably use a Titanium frame on the S24 Ultra for better durability. We will see a Titanium Gray S24 Ultra as well.
Alongside Titanium, another major change for the S24 Ultra is the cameras. We will get a new large 50MP 5X zoom camera to replace the current 10MP 10X camera. It will also get the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, and we expect it to retain the 200MP main sensor. The S24 and S24 Plus will both get LTPO AMOLED panels, and the S24 Plus will apparently get a QHD 1440P resolution.
