Samsung usually provides speedy updates with One UI. The last update, OneUI 6.0, was rolled out to all supported devices in 4 months. That was much faster than competitors, and Samsung got a lot of praise. Unfortunately, the One UI 7.0 update hasn’t been so fast because of delays, but the rollout is now finally happening.
It’s courtesy of Android Authority, which found a screenshot on the Samsung members’ forum detailing the OneUI 7.0 rollout schedule for the Korean market. Based on this information, we can make an assumption about the release schedule for the global markets.
These devices have received the One UI 7 update in April 2025:
- Galaxy S24 series (does not include the FE)
- Galaxy Z Fold 6
- Galaxy Z Flip 6
- Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (not released in the US)
These devices will get the update sometime in April 2025:
- Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Galaxy Tab S10 series
- Galaxy S23 series (not including the FE)
- Galaxy S24 FE
The following devices are slated for the One UI 7 update in May:
- Galaxy Z Fold 4
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy Tab S9 series (not FE) & Galaxy Tab S8 series
- Galaxy S23 FE
- Galaxy Z Fold 3
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
- Galaxy A34, Galaxy A35
- Galaxy S22 series
- Galaxy S21 series (not FE)
- Galaxy A16
- Galaxy Quantum 5 and Galaxy Quantum 4
These devices will get the One UI 7 update last, in the month of June:
- Galaxy Tab S9 FE
- Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus
- Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33
- Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A24
- Galaxy A15
- Galaxy Quantum 3, Galaxy Jump 3, Galaxy Jump 2
- Galaxy Buddy 3
- Galaxy Tab A9 series
- Galaxy Tab Active 5 and Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro
- Galaxy Wide 7
Note: Some of these models are limited to Korea only, and others weren’t released globally in all markets.
Certain phones like Galaxy S21 FE aren’t mentioned in this list as they weren’t launched in South Korea, but it doesn’t mean they won’t get One UI 7.0. Judging by the timeline for other phones, the Galaxy S21 FE will get the update in May or June.
According to this list, the flagship Galaxy S series phones will get it earlier than the A series. We will get an official list from Samsung in a few weeks, which will make it even clearer.
