While Samsung Galaxy device owners are waiting for the stable One UI 7 update, the South Korean giant has released the fourth beta version of the software.
This suggests that the stable version’s rollout is still a few weeks away as Samsung will await users’ feedback to finalize that build as stable. However, the delay might be even longer if Samsung plans to release more beta versions.
Now, regarding One UI 7 beta 4, it is rolling out in the US with version ZYBA. The beta 4 update brings a few new features, including an Al Filter in the Camera and a Samsung Log function in the Camera (currently available in the S24 Ultra only).
In addition to features, the update fixed some previously reported bugs, including errors within the lock screen/AOD UI, quick panel UI discrepancies, the disappearance of the status bar from the home screen, unnatural animation during the opening and closing of recent applications, and errors related to alarm grouping. See the screenshot below for more details.
Unfortunately, the One UI 7 beta program is only available for the Galaxy S24 series. If you own a Galaxy S24 phone and want to try out the latest beta, join the beta program through the Samsung Members app, then go to Settings > Software update > Download and Install.
According to a report from Sammyfans, Samsung plans to close the One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy S24. The latest beta build is so polished that we could almost call it stable already. If no significant issues are found during internal reviews the next update should be the stable version of One UI 7.
