One UI 7.1 update tipped to release in Q2 2025

The Galaxy S25 series comes with Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. Other eligible Galaxy phones will get the stable One UI 7 update in the first quarter, though the exact timeline has not been shared in the announcement post.

That said, the rollout will likely begin in February 2025 with the Galaxy S24 series. While Samsung fans are waiting for the stable One UI 7, a new report suggests One UI 7.1 is also in the pipeline.

Now Samsung has confirmed (accidentally?) the existence of One UI 7.1 via its Try Galaxy website, which reads: โ€œTry Galaxy is a simulation of Samsungโ€™s One UI 7.1.โ€ So, we may experience the incremental version of One UI 7 in the coming months.

According to tipster @FamilyTaes on X, One UI 7.1 will add even more AI features, especially to the Galaxy S25 series. Besides, the tipster said that One UI 7.1 will arrive in Q2 2025.

It seems Samsung may announce One UI 7.1 along with the upcoming foldable device (Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7?) at its next Unpacked event, which is usually held in July. There is also a possibility that the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, which could launch in April, may arrive with One UI 7.1 out of the box.

In related news, the One UI 7 Beta is still ongoing with version Beta 3. Perhaps Samsung plans to release One UI 7 beta 4? Only time will tell.
