One UI 6 was a major update in terms of AI features. We got video slowdown, circle to search, translate, and other useful features in a package called “Galaxy AI.” However, One UI 6 didn’t have that many new visual elements except for the Quick Toggles.
One UI 7 is a massive visual overhaul. New icons, new UI/ UX elements, new notifications, and quick toggles. One UI 7 also has completely new animations with animation customization. However, they still have to advertise further AI features with Galaxy AI.
Over the next few events, they rolled out many new Galaxy AI features, like sketch to image. Earlier reports suggested that the AI summary feature will arrive with One UI 7. Now, it appears (via Chun Bhai) that most Galaxy AI features—such as AI summary and AI emoji—will actually debut with the One UI 7.1 update instead of 7.0.
Most upcoming Galaxy AI features will be implemented on 7.1 update instead of 7.0 (ex AI summary, AI emoji).

This is a feature that we first saw with Apple Intelligence. It collects key information from several of your emails and summarizes it into one notification.
It takes all the information from posts on platforms like X and summarizes it into one or two lines. It’s important to note that summaries often miss the nuance of statements and are only reliable at a cursory glance.
Talking about AI Emojis, they could be inspired by the Genmoji feature from Apple Intelligence.
It could be flagship Samsung phones only, and it might not come to the A series phones. The functionality is identical to Apple’s. Declutter notifications highlight the important ones and save time.
