Samsung’s user interface One UI 6 stable update is available for Galaxy devices. But soon after the Stable updates were made available, users raised complaints against the broken Widget animation transitions. It is a transition issue; while swiping in a multidirectional gesture, the Widget does not return to its position. Some users also mention the splits during the widget transition, which is odd compared to earlier smooth transitions in One UI 5.1. This issue was raised in various Samsung community forums by users.
It was speculated that the company will mitigate all the shortcomings with the Android 14-based stable One UI 6 update. Until now, no solution has been made available for widget animation, but here is a ray of hope recently. As shared in X (Formerly Twitter), one of the Home screen moderators, in reply to the widget animation issue, mentioned the development works in progress to redefine and optimize it.
The moderator added that the issue will be fixed in the next update, available by the end of November 23. Furthermore, emphasizing the broken widget issue, the moderator addresses it only reflects while making a multidirectional swiping gesture. It does not reflect while using the Button navigation or Bottom-top swiping gesture. The moderator, however, assured us to provide the solution with the update and urged users to have patience till then.
After several beta versions, the One UI 6 stable started rolling with the S23 series. Other devices in Europe were recently listed for the schedule update. With the latest update, the company delivered some of the most stunning widgets of all time, like custom camera widgets, cool animation in weather widgets, etc. Hopefully, Samsung soon provide a fruitful solution to the widget transition issue in the next update.
