The latest Book Cover Keyboards by Samsung for their Galaxy Tablets come with a dedicated Galaxy AI Key. Its purpose is to activate the virtual assistant of the user’s choice.
As of now, the button is only supported by the recently launched Galaxy Tab S10 series. However, that might change in the coming weeks.
One UI 7 Will Unlock Galaxy AI Key for Galaxy Tab S9 Series
Samsung has pulled a quite appreciated move with their accessories this time around. They have made the Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Tab S10 series accessories cross-compatible.
However, there is one exception. This year’s Book Cover Keyboard comes with the Galaxy AI Key, as stated earlier.
While this keyboard will work perfectly fine with all the Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets, this one key will not.
But that is only a matter of time. Apparently, as per SamMobile, the One UI 7 update will enable the Galaxy AI Key for the entire Galaxy Tab S9 series.
This includes the base Tab S9, the Tab S9 Plus, the Tab S9 Ultra, the Tab S9 FE, and the Tab S9 FE Plus.
Users may receive the Android 15-based update early next year, with the beta testing starting later this year.
