LockStar is one of the most popular Good Lock modules for Samsung phones, which allows us to create unique and amazing lockscreen styles with deep customizations.
With this module, we can relocate the lockscreen components, such as the clock and the notification icons, to any position the user wishes and change the notification style to receive either only icons or full text. Additionally, we can decorate the lockscreen with stickers, images, or emojis.
This gives rise to our unique imagination and inspiration for Samsung phone lockscreen designs, making LockStar a big deal alongside One UI’s native lockscreen customizations.
Furthermore, LockStar is also useful for AOD customizations. Unfortunately, this functionality is now buggy since many Samsung users are reporting an issue with this module where the AOD preview does not match the actual display.
This issue was first seen on Reddit, where the affected user reported that despite installing all the latest updates and customizing the AOD as per LockStar’s preview, the result on the actual display was different with smaller notification icons.
The user tried troubleshooting by resetting the settings and changing the clock style, but to no avail, since the issue persisted.
Fortunately, the Good Lock development team has confirmed (via Samsung Community) that it is aware of this issue, and a software fix will be released soon.
The company apologizes to the affected users for any inconvenience caused by this issue and tells them to wait patiently while this problem is fixed, and the updates are rolled out.
