One UI 7 is probably the most prominent upgrade in the history of One UI, and that’s why the Korean giant is delaying its release for older Galaxy devices. It was pre-installed on the current flagship lineup, the Galaxy S25.
So far, Samsung has released multiple beta builds for the Galaxy S24 series, with more beta builds reportedly in the pipeline. A recent report also suggests expanding the beta program to Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Earlier, we reported that the stable One UI 7 update would roll out in March 2025, with the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 being the first eligible devices. Now, according to the alleged rollout timeline, the stable update rollout will begin in April 2025.
An X (formerly Twitter) user @BuligaDavidCri1 says that Samsung Romania has confirmed the update schedule for One UI 7 and Android 15 during a Zoom meeting for the S25 series workshop. These details arrived from Korea.
If this information pans out, Samsung will roll out stable One UI 7 for older Galaxy devices according to the below timeline:
