Samsung is now preparing to launch its next generation of foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7. While Samsung fans are waiting to find out what’s new, a leak regarding its pricing has surfaced online.
According to a tipster @PandaFlashPro on X, Samsung might keep the prices of the Flip 7 and Fold 7 the same as the previous models in most regions. If this leak turns out to be true, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 could start at $1,099, just like the Flip 6. Similarly, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 might have a starting price of $1,899, which is the same as the Fold 6.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 was $100 more expensive than the Flip 5, but Samsung made an upgrade in memory configuration to justify it. The Flip 6 included 12GB of RAM in the base variant, compared to the Flip 5’s 8GB.
On the other hand, the Fold 6 also saw a $100 price increase compared to the Fold 5. That said, its memory stayed the same, so the price increase didnโt bring as much value in terms of RAM.
Samsung usually launches its foldable phones in the second half of the year. If this time around, the South Korean giant sticks to their usual schedule, we might see the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 in July 2025.
It is worth noting that Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed anything about its upcoming foldable phone, so we’ll have to wait and see. Still, it’s an exciting rumor for those waiting for Samsung’s next generation of foldable phones.
