Leak Reveals Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim’s Camera Sensors

Samsung is working on the Galaxy S25 Slim, a thinner version of its flagship series with top-of-the-line camera technology.

Though this device has not been officially confirmed by the company, several leaks have shown that it will launch with the rest of the Galaxy S25 lineup early in 2025.

A few days ago, Ice Universe said that the phone would feature an “Ultra” camera. Now, thanks to tipster Sanju Choudhary, it appears that the Galaxy S25 Slim might boast a 200MP main camera using Samsung’s ISOCELL HP5 sensor. The same sensor is said to be 1/1.56″ in size while offering great image quality, hence compact for its slim design.

It is also going to house two cameras of 50MP each, employing ISOCELL JN5 sensors, one as an ultra-wide camera and the other as a telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. The sensors will come in a size of 1/2.76″ and are supposed to be balanced for performance and compactness in the device.

The telephoto camera may come with a single 3.5x optical zoom lens instead of a dual setup like on the present S Ultra series. This lens is said to pack Samsung’s new All Lenses on Prism (ALoP) technology that was announced on November 14. This ALoP is basically meant to keep the camera module dimension smaller by repositioning the lenses and prisms, which plays a great role in your phone achieving a thinner profile.

The Galaxy S25 Slim is said to compete with Apple’s rumored slim phone – the iPhone 17 Air, which will go official next year.
