Samsung’s 2025 foldable lineup is on the way. It will likely include the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Fold SE 2, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip FE, and the Galaxy G Fold, a tri-fold device.
However, ahead of Galaxy Z Fold 7’s launch, its design has surfaced online via CAD renders, courtesy of Android Headlines and OnLeaks.
Looking at the renders, the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s design is similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, in terms of dimensions, Samsung has made some impressive improvements โ mainly focused on its slim profile.
The device will be just 4.5mm thick when unfolded and 9.5mm when folded (including the camera bump), which is about 1.1mm thinner than the current model, Z Fold 6, and 0.4mm thinner than Z Fold SE.
The dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will likely be around 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm. So, the front display will be quite wide compared to last year’s model, which measures 153.5 x 132.6 x 5.6 mm.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 could feature an impressive 8.2-inch inner display, surpassing the Oppo Find N5’s 8.12-inch screen โ which holds the title of being the biggest inner display on a book-style foldable device.
The outer display could be 6.5 inches, which is up from the 6.3 inches of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
