Galaxy Z Flip FE to Feature Samsung’s Exynos 2400 Processor: Report

Samsung might unveil a cheaper version of its foldable Galaxy Z Flip phone called Galaxy Z Flip FE as early as next year.

The Galaxy Z Flip FE, Samsungโ€™s upcoming Fan Edition (FE) handset, will likely offer a cheaper alternative without completely downgrading all the features.

It might be missing some of the fancy features of the high-end Galaxy Z Flip models, but nothing too important would be left out.

A well-known tipster, “Jukanlosreve,” said that the Galaxy Z Flip FE may arrive with the Samsung Exynos 2400 chip. Samsung has already used the Exynos 2400 chip in Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus smartphones.

So, Even though itโ€™s aimed to be more budget-friendly, the Z Flip FE might still have a very strong processor.

The Exynos 2400, which is built with Samsung’s 4nm tech, is known for its amazing speed and efficiency. Thus, it makes a strong option for a more affordable smartphone.

In addition, rumors have it that Samsung plans on releasing a new Exynos chip in the future. The Exynos 2500 processor could make its debut in the Galaxy Z Flip 7.

It is said the Galaxy Z Flip FE might be part of a โ€œsimultaneous releaseโ€ alongside Samsungโ€™s next-generation foldables, possibly the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, in the latter half of 2025.

When it comes to price, the Z Flip FE is expected to be quite pocket-friendly. It will probably be available between $400 to $500. This would make it one of Samsungโ€™s cheapest foldable phones yet.
