Samsung is planning to launch an affordable version of the Galaxy Watch soon under the company’s FE lineup, which is expected to be named the Galaxy Watch FE.
Ahead of its launch, we found a Galaxy Watch FE listing on a reliable European retailer database (which typically mirrors Amazon’s prices) that reveals the pricing and full specifications.
As per the listing, the Galaxy Watch FE will cost around โฌ199 in the EU when it goes on sale later this year. The final pricing could vary slightly depending on the specific country due to the different taxation policies of the various European countries.
Hence, we can expect to see this watch land at an expected price of $149 or $199 when it eventually debuts in the United States.
Furthermore, the listings show three colors for the Galaxy Watch FE: Pink, Silver, and Black. Interestingly, it seems that the silver color will ship with a blue strap, while the other colors ship with their respective colored straps. They also confirmed that it would come in a 40 mm size with a round dial.
It also retains two buttons for controlling the functions of the smartwatch, unlike the upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra, which is expected to get an additional round button in the middle of the two other buttons.
We now know all the specifications of the Galaxy Watch FE, which turns out to be very similar to the Galaxy Watch 4 from 2021.

Hence, it seems that Samsung is relaunching the 40 mm version of the Galaxy Watch 4 as the new “Galaxy Watch FE”, but without the LTE version. It is expected to be made available only in a Bluetooth variant.
It is rumored that the Galaxy Watch FE could either be announced alongside the Galaxy Watch 7 series at Samsung’s Unpacked event in July 2024, or it has a small possibility of being introduced at a separate event later in the year with the remaining FE lineup products.
