Samsung has made a big change to its S Pen that comes with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The S Pen won’t support Bluetooth connectivity. Unlike the S24 Ultra’s S Pen features, you won’t be able to access all the features.
In case you are unfamiliar, the S Pen is a wireless stylus that was developed by Samsung, and it can be used with select Galaxy devices. It looks like a real pen and can be used for writing, drawing, and navigating your device.
So, the S Pen in the Galaxy S25 Ultra comes in handy for drawing and writing. It has a 0.7mm tip and can sense 4,096 levels of pressure. Now that Bluetooth is missing, you will not be able to use some of its features. For instance, you can’t use remote camera control, gestures, and Air Actions.
Perhaps these Bluetooth-only features have low user engagement (or removing Bluetooth might help cut costs?), so Samsung has decided to ditch Bluetooth connectivity on its new S Pen.
With that being said, the Galaxy S25 Ultra still includes the S Pen inside the phone, so you do not have to carry it separately. But some fans might be disappointed as some features are now missing due to the lack of Bluetooth connectivity.
