Some Galaxy S25 Ultra owners are complaining about issues with notifications not working. They have raised concerns on the Samsung community forum.
Despite having all notification settings enabled, some users are not getting any notifications for calls, messages, or app updates.
“I received my new S25 Ultra yesterday and set it up via SmartSwitch. Everything transferred correctly, but none of my notifications are working,” user Squeaky369 wrote a post on the community forum.
The user also confirmed that the Do Not Disturb mode is off, no modes or routines are active, and individual app notification settings are correctly set up.
In response to users’ complaints, a Samsung community manager suggested trying basic troubleshooting steps, including checking notification categories, confirming Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity, updating IMEI numbers with their service provider, and resetting all settings. Unfortunately, none of these methods resolved the issue.
One user, Damir Kovacevic, said that the issue was fixed after manually updating apps. “I found out the reason. I didn’t get any Gmail notifications, and after I updated the Gmail App, I’ve got all of them; try to update apps manually,”ย the user wrote.
The root cause of the issue is still unknown. It could be a bug in the Smart Switch transfer process or One UI 7; who knows? As of now, Samsung has not acknowledged the issue. In the meantime, you can submit feedback with logs through the Members App so that the company can investigate and provide a solution for it.
