Is This the Galaxy S25 Ultra? New Renders Emerge

Last month, Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, two excellent foldable devices that have gone on to become bestsellers for the company in many regions.

However, it seems that the company’s winning streak may continue with the introduction of the Galaxy S25 Ultra early next year, which is expected to finally bring some significant design and camera upgrades from the current Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Now, we receive some new information about the design changes of Samsung’s upcoming Ultra flagship for 2025, thanks to the reliable tipster Ice Universe (via @UniverseIce on X/Twitter).

In this leak, he shows a render of a phone’s front design, which is widely speculated to be the new front design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

It looks like a major departure from the S24 Ultra, with the sharp, flat 90ยฐ edges replaced with smooth, rounded corners. This change is expected to significantly improve the comfort of holding the phone.

The issue with the current Galaxy S24 Ultra design was that the sharp, flat edges caused a lot of discomfort to some users when holding their phones for a long time. This is something that even affects me personally since the flat edges dig sharply into the palm of my hand.

This new design change to the rounded corners finally fixes this major issue, potentially improving the in-hand feel of the upcoming flagship.

This change also marks the first time that Samsung has brought back a significantly round front chassis after the Galaxy S21 Ultra from 2021.

Furthermore, this new design also seems to have significantly thinner display bezels than the S24 Ultra, increasing the immersion of the display for the upcoming generation.

It’s great to finally see a Samsung Ultra flagship going in an overwhelmingly positive direction, and we cannot wait to see what other improvements the company brings to it, just in time for the launch of the Galaxy S25 series, which is supposed to take place in early 2025.
