Galaxy S25 Slim to Feature Same Chipset as Galaxy S24

Samsung’s Galaxy S24 FE was launched not even a month back. It’s the third generation of the S2x FE lineup, which started back in 2020 with the Galaxy S20 FE. There was no S22 FE due to various reasons.

Now, just after the launch of Galaxy S24 FE, leaks have started coming for its successor, which could be called the S25 Slim instead of the S25 FE.ย The Galaxy S25 Slim’s launch is far away next year, and yet some information for it has already come out.

According to an X (formerly Twitter) user @chunvn8888, the Galaxy S25 Slim will use the same Exynos 2400 as the Galaxy S24 rather than a newer Exynos.

This is because Samsung canceled the Exynos 2500 because it was not able to keep up with the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

So, on a side note, even the standard Galaxy S25 series will use Snapdragon 8 Elite in all regions.

Although it seems like no upgrade has been done from the S24 FE, there actually has been. Currently, the Galaxy S24 FE uses the “Exynos 2400e” processor, which is a slightly toned-down version of the “Exynos 2400”.

So, a full-fledged Exynos 2400 in the Galaxy S25 Slim will give it a minor performance increase.
