Samsung has pushed the August Security update for its high-edge device, Galaxy S24. The update is live in the US and Europe, as confirmed by the tipsters on X and Reddit. As reported by a tipster, the August update fixes high-severity vulnerabilities CVE-2024-36971, i.e., the dangerous zero-day threat for Android devices.

You can learn more about security issues fromย Samsung’sย official channel. The August update will roll out for the eligible devices in the upcoming days.

Until now, users have been expecting the August update to be a major one, which was previously indicating the One UI 6.1.1 update and the camera refinements. Even renowned tipster @IceUniverse has no clue why the company is lagging behind the release.

Meanwhile, its custom skin One UI 7’s test build has also been spotted online recently. Pretty soon, the beta program will be released for Galaxy Devices. Moreover, as reports suggest, the stable variant could hit in October.

More or less, it can be concluded that the delay in the next update is to bring improvement in every possible for Galaxy Devices. All the new features included in the latest Fold 6 are going to be brought with the extended version of One UI 6.1. Along with the massive camera improvements.
