Galaxy S23 Series may get One UI 7 beta soon, reports suggest

One UI 7 beta is not over yet, with more beta builds reportedly on the way. A few days ago, a report suggested that Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 users will soon be able to participate in the One UI 7 beta program.

Now, fresh information via Tarun Vats reveals that the Galaxy S23 series will also join the beta program. Although we don’t know when Samsung will open the beta program for those devices, it may roll out in the first half of next month, considering the fact that the official One UI 7 beta forum page on Samsung’s community website is already live.

Vats wrote on his X account that a new beta build with version S918NKSU6ZYBG/ S918NOKR6ZYBG/ S918NKSU6DYBG was spotted on the test server. Given that Z builds represent beta and SM-S918x is the model number of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, these are most likely One UI 7 beta builds for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

We are not sure whether other siblings, such as the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+, also get the beta update, as builds for those devices have not been listed on the server yet. But they should not usually be left out. Well, only time will tell.

In case you are not aware, Samsung started the One UI 7 beta program in early December last year, with the Galaxy S24 series as the only eligible lineup. Since then, Galaxy S24 owners who joined the program have been getting the taste of Android 15-based custom skin, One UI 7. The current beta build is beta 4. Also, one thing to note is that the beta program is only available in select countries, including the US.

Speaking of stable rollout, if we believe the recently leaked alleged roadmap, the Galaxy S23 series should receive the stable update on April 25.
