The Galaxy A series has been in the talks lately. Just a week ago, we got design leaks of the Galaxy A36. Now, a new leak reveals the camera details of the more expensive Galaxy A56.
Upgraded Selfie Camera, Same Rear Cameras
GalaxyClub, a blog that covers all things Samsung, recently revealed the camera specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A56.
According to them, the selfie camera on this device is going to get a new 12MP sensor in place of the old 32MP one. This is a welcome change since Samsung has been using this sensor since 2020.
Although it may seem like a downgrade if we just look at the numbers, it is not actually the case.
For context, the entire Galaxy S24 series also uses a 12MP sensor for their selfie cameras. While it is not yet clear whether Samsung is going to use the same sensor for the Galaxy A56, it will be an upgrade regardless.
Besides that, the rear cameras are going to stay the same — a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide one, and a 5MP macro camera.
The Galaxy A56 may hit the markets by March next year, considering previous year patterns of Galaxy A5x launches. You can read more about the device here.
