Samsung’s one of the best-selling midrange smartphones, the A5X series, will likely roll out its 5th edition soon. For the first time, official information surfaced online for the expensive one in the lineup, i.e., Galaxy A55.
Recently, China’s 3C (China compulsory certification) certification report tipped the information regarding the 5th edition of the Galaxy A5X series adapter. As per the report, the Samsung Model SM-A5560 with 9.0VDC/ 2.77A (25W) got China’s 3C approval for its adapter. The model name SM-A5560 means the Galaxy A55, and the last digit “0” indicates it’s the Chinese variant.
Looks like Samsung is keeping its promise by featuring a fast-charging adapter for its upcoming midrange phone. Another noteworthy point about the report is that the product mentioned is “Sold without power adapter.” Therefore, Samsung will stick with the idea of selling adapters separately as usual. This concluded that the retail box compiles with the phone, USB Cable, and SIM card ejecting PIN.
The upcoming Galaxy A55 was mainly rumored to have Samsung Foundry’s Exynos 1480 SoC. Yeah, the speculation might be true per the company’s trend. On its Galaxy A54 device, we get the Exynos 1380 chipset, whereas Galaxy A53 receives the Exynos 1280 setup.
However, the recent Soc setup did not meet with the peak performance as expected. Galaxy A54 seems not to respond quickly and smoothly to its UI skin. Therefore, people who believe in the Samsung Ecosystem have their eyes on the software refinement for the A55 variant. Moreover, the current version lacks the primary camera setup, like 3X Telephoto. Although the phone is confirmed to have a fast-charging adapter of 25W, it was expected to have at least 45W. Noting the price of the current A54, the Galaxy A55 price needs to be decent enough for its midrange users.
